The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) was founded in 1899. It is a national, membership-based, not-for-profit organisation that offers more than 400 members Australia-wide the perfect medium to network, learn and develop their businesses.
Via four offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, the chamber organises business seminars and social events to keep members informed and provide entertainment opportunities. An annual Members’ Directory also plays an important role in facilitating contact among members and influential people in the French-Australian business community.
FACCI is affiliated to the Union des Chambres de Commerce et d’Industrie Françaises à l’Etranger (UCIFFE), a worldwide network of 114 French Chambers operating in 78 countries. Through its members, the FACCI has at its disposal a significant and diverse range of companies within the Australian business community.
FACCI liaise with French Government agencies in Australia, the network of regional Chambers of Commerce in France and also works in close partnership with Australia’s State and Federal Governments. These contacts help members find important commercial, financial and legal information necessary for business in both France and Australia.
FACCI’s role and missions are:
► To promote the development of commercial, industrial, and economical bilateral links between France and Australia
► To provide the French-Australian business community with a wide range of events and services
► To support French SMEs to export and set up businesses in Australia, and provide similar services for Australian SMBs interested in the French market
