The job :

IDAIA – International Development for Australian Indigenous Art – focuses on developing the presence and appreciation of Australian Indigenous Art among international audiences through educating, sourcing and facilitating acquisition and exhibition projects.
Based on strong ethical principles and best trade practices, IDAIA only works with official Aboriginal art structures: community-based art centres (or equivalent ethical organisations recognised as art centres), and urban-based artists.

Role Description:

A role for a motivated and serious person willing to gain/further develop a work experience in the Australian Indigenous art sector and contribute to the actions of a growing international organisation.

The role consists of diverse research, writing and curatorial tasks to contribute to the following projects and events:
- International exhibition projects,
