Wednesday 17 & Thursday 18 - Joie de Vivre dinner at Comme
Under the setting sun, Alfred Place will come alive to the wonderful sights, sounds and tastes of France. As a part of the 2010 Melbourne Food & Wine Festival, enjoy delicious tastings of Comme's contemporary French fare prepared by Executive Chef Daniel Southern, served alfresco and complemented by superb French sparkling wine, Kronenbourg beer and romantic accordion music. Two nights of absolute pleasure.

Thursday 18 - The Young Bunch
Meet the young bunch of winemakers and winery owners and discover their wines their way. This dynamic, approachable bunch of 30ish year olds includes: Ben Portet (Dominique Portet, Yarra Valley), Nick Brown (All Saints Estate), Christian Dal Zotto (Dal Zotto, King Valley), Clare Burder (Eminence, King Valley), Matt Fowles (Plunkett Fowles, Strathbogie Ranges), Simon Stelle (Shadowfax, Werribee) and Rowly Milhinch (Scion Vineyard, Rutherglen).
Time: 6.30-10.30pm

Tuesday 23 - ''From Fathers to Sons'' Dinner
Dominique Portet and his son Ben will be hosting an exclusive dinner, “From Fathers to Sons” at the Brasserie by Philippe Mouchel on March 23. Dominique, a 10th generation winemaker, and his son will pay tribute to their Bordeaux heritage and in particular Chateau Lafite Rothschild where Dominique’s father was regisseur.
