In partnership with the French Embassy in Canberra, Degrémont, and the Ernst & Young French Business Centre, FACCI invites you to attend a briefing on bilateral trade and investment between France and Australia.

This briefing will provide an outlook on the growing economic and commercial relationship between France and Australia. The event will also give the opportunity to hear about several recent investment and PPP projects involving French companies in Australia.

Agnès Espagne - Economic Counsellor, Embassy of France to Australia

http://www.ambafrance-au.org/IMG/jpg/Ambassade_Canberra-2.jpgThe Economic Section of the French Embassy in Canberra monitors Australia’s economic and financial situation as well as the outcomes of growing bilateral exchanges and investments between France and Australia.

It communicates Australia’s position to multilateral organisations and works to enhance cooperation between government and business actors. It identifies potential obstacles for French companies entering the Australian market and attempts to find solutions to these, in conjunction with relevant European institutions and the French Trade Commission Ubifrance in Australia.

The activity of the Economic Section of the French Embassy in Canberra also extends to macroeconomic and financial analysis of Island States in the South Pacific area, and it contributes to efforts towards the integration of New Caledonia into its regional environment.
