How to be involved in the Future Australian Submarine Program?

    - Thursday 17 May

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in partnership with the Queensland Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning, is pleased to invite you to attend a  briefing with Naval Group on Thursday 17 May from 10am to 1pm.

Naval Group is a European leader in naval defence. Naval Group designs, builds and maintains submarines for the French, Brazilian, Indian and Malaysian navies. Naval Group is Australia's international partner for the design and build of 12 regionally superior submarines for the Royal Australian Navy. Naval Group is committed to maximising opportunities for Australian industry throughout all phases of the Program and are currently seeking registrations of interest from suppliers for a range of equipment and services required to deliver the future submarines. The first submarine will commence service in the early 2030s and sustainment will continue into the 2080s.

The event will include a presentation by Stephane Conty, Procurement & Industry Development Team Leader, a Q&A session, as well as networking time and a light buffet lunch.

We are encouraging attendees to register early as space is limited.
