On the Wednesday 16th September 2015, the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce held two consecutive events in Sydney based on the theme of Smart Cities, and released a National publication in the Australian Financial Review featuring the theme of the event. During the day from 7am to 6pm, the Chamber hosted its very first inaugural Business Forum comprised of 10 sessions each investigating a different industry involved in Smart Cities. Following on from a full day of presentations and panel discussions with a fantastic line up of industry experts, the day concluded with the Chamber’s much anticipated 22nd annual Soirée de Gala sponsored by Peugeot, showcasing the announcement of the 4th Etihad Airways Business Awards, which this year was also based on the theme of Smart Cities.
On Friday 24 July 2015, the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) hosted the 12th Europcar Tour de France Lunch at Peninsula (Docklands). Over 600 guests came together to celebrate the Tour de France two days before the arrival of the pelotonon the Champs Elysees.
This year Melbourne celebrated Bastille Day for the first time with a two-day French Festival held in and around the historic State Library Victoria on July 18-19, allowing over 7000 visitors to enjoy the best of France in Melbourne.
On Friday 10th July, the NSW Chapter of the Chamber held it's flagship eevent: the Perrier Jouet Bastille Day Champagne Breakfast. The event was held at Altitude Restaurant at the Shangri- La Hotel, the Rocks, Sydney.
On Wednesday 3rd June, the French Australian Chamber held a Business Briefing Event called Transfer Pricing and hosted by Patron Member Deloitte.
Last Friday, the 29th May, the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a CEO Forum called Business is Changing with Rudi Filapek-Vandyck as Guest Speaker.
On Thursday 12th March, the Chamber held a Young Professionals Business Tchin Tchin Event with Safe Mate at French Touch Creperie.
