NSW - 2013 French-Australian Chamber Golf Cup

On the 31st of October 2013, Francois Romanet, FACCI NSW President and CEO of Safran Pacific, was delighted to host the annual French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FACCI) Golf Cup at one of Sydney’s most scenic golfing venues, the Coast Golf Club in Little Bay.

The French-Australian Chamber Golf Cup provided an ideal opportunity to combine business executives’ love of Golf and business in a relaxed atmosphere. As the Golf Cup is a high profile event with attendees comprising of key decision makers of the French-Australian business community, FACCI members had the opportunity to promote their business while networking with other players during the course of the day.

Each team consisted of 3 to 4 players to create an intimate enough environment for players to meet and get to know each other. The event was a great success with more than 43 players participating during the day and another 30 attendees joining the evening celebrations for the prize ceremony and dinner. Players were provided with a golf clinic by Pierre Duverne, a Member of PGA Europe, to help them play at their best.

Some of the highlights of the day included a wine tasting by Travers Wines, a G.H. MUMM Champagne reception and Caroline Bouquet held a signing session for her new book Mapping Sydney for players to enjoy.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the French-Australian Chamber Golf Cup 2013. After the 18 holes were completed, the prize ceremony was presented for the winners of the FACCI Golf Cup 2013.
