Interview with Bruno Mascart, Managing Director at ALTIOS Australia
1. What exactly does Altios do?
Altios international is a specialised in international business development. We have 17 of our own offices, covering 15 countries, as well as a network of partners in a further 80 countries, helping companies to accelerate their performance in growing international markets through a broad range of services.

a. What have been Altios’ main areas of success in the Australasian region, and why do you believe this to be the case?
Altios Australia’s main area of success would have to be the local market knowledge as well as expertise we are able to provide to our clients. Our global network is also a great strength as companies are able to internationalise in a wide range of markets in a one stop shop rather than using a range of companies in various countries. In Australia we have over 400 m2 of office space, which enables our clients to have immediate access to a workstation or fully equipped office in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
b. What is a recent success story for Altios Australia?
We have numerous success stories with our clients; one we will mention is a leading French Group in Agribusiness that has set up their own company in Australia and is using our bookkeeping and payroll. They have now employed a dedicated sales team and will be delivering their first order to Australia. We look forward to watching them grow Down Under!
4. Altios is in the process of expanding across the globe: can you tell us a little bit about what developments have come into place over the last few months?
Due to increased demand in Canada and the UK we are pleased to announce that we are opening offices in Montreal and London to facilitate business for our current clients in entering these markets. We will also be able to better assist Canadian and British companies to expand globally throughout our network.
5. How does Altios manage the dynamics of a multi-cultural team, particularly when hosting businesses that originate from outside Australia?
The team at Altios is multi-cultural and we therefore often have a similar background as our clients. This means is that cultural differences can be discussed as well as made aware of prior to being in a certain situation. For example, our French clients are often surprised at how open and easy going Australians often are in a business environment.
