On Tuesday 15 May 2018, the South Australian Chapter of the Chamber held a business briefing on cyber security hosted by international law firm Lipman Karas. The seminar drew together an esteemed panel of French and Australian experts who explored the trends and challenges in cyber security from legal, regulatory, commercial and defence perspectives.
The Chamber was pleased to invite a delegation from the Regional Council of Brittany, South Australia’s sister state, to attend the seminar and to share their significant experience in minimising and countering cyber security risks. The evening showcased the increasing ties between Adelaide and France in the areas of defence and cyber security.

Over 50 guests attended the seminar, which was followed by discussion and networking over Jim Barry wines and cheese platters catered by Lipman Karas. The evening was an exciting opportunity for attendees to exchange their expertise in addressing the universal challenges of cyber-security risk.
