Less than a month left before the Brisbane French Festival sets foot on South Bank Cultural Parklands and brings you the best of what France has to offer: from exclusive French wines to fantastic cheese stalls at our French market. More than a 100 artists will entertain you on stage throughout the week-end. Make sure you come down for your Friday drinks at Le Festival as we will have an amazing opening night with unforgettable concerts.
This year’s is also quite unique as The Festival will welcome for the first time Paul Taylor as their 2017 ambassador. Paul Taylor is a famous French comedian who will do a stand-up show on Monday 10th July at the Tivoli and shot to fame after his video mocking the French custom of ‘La Bise’ (greeting with a kiss) went viral.
His show will kick off the French Week, a week-long celebration of “All Things French” through a selection of exciting events held at South Bank & Brisbane from Monday 10 July to Sunday 16 July 2017. This French Week will be a continuation of the Festival held on 7th, 8th and 9th July 2017.
