    Following the success of our first edition of the event in March, the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry warmly invites you to attend the second Executive Women series of 2017.

    An in-depth, moderated panel discussion will allow guests to learn about our three outstanding panellists and how they have reached senior roles in vastly different organisations.

    Frank Ribuot, CEO of Randstad and NSW President of the French-Australian Chamber will lead a practical and interactive discussion on how to succeed as a businesswoman and entrepreneur in France and Australia.

    Preeti Bajaj

    VP Strategy & Commercial Operations

    Preeti is an entrepreneurial leader with a proven ability to develop and execute commercially focused business strategies for organisations, covering; public/private social infrastructure, technology, utilities, education and property.

    Preeti has enjoyed a diverse career spanning roles in business development, general management, operations, strategy and transformation for multi-nationals and start-ups, including; Brookfield Multiplex, Metcash (Top 100 ASX), Intuit Real Estate Solutions, Vision Software and currently Schneider Electric.

    Preeti’s current role is Vice President, Strategy & Commercial Operations for the global energy management and automation specialist, Schneider Electric. Drawing on her entrepreneurial spirit, Preeti believes motivating and building high energy, high performance teams is the most effective way to deliver on results. Preeti is passionate about diversity and inclusiveness and is particularly interested in mentoring and inspiring young women in business.

    In 2011 Preeti won the AFR’s Young Executive of the Year award. In 2016 Preeti became the Australian Chair for CoreNet Global, an organisation focused on driving productive outcomes for the users of the commercial built environment. In June 2017, Preeti won a Chief Executive Women (CEW) scholarship to attend the Authentic Leadership Development program at Harvard Business School, Boston Massachusetts in 2017. This scholarship is part of the CEW Scholars program, which helps talented Australia women take their careers to the next level by supporting executive education at internationally acclaimed business schools.

    Preeti is passionate about smart cities and currently leads the smart city practice for Schneider Electric Australia. This covers a broad spectrum of solutions that can change the outcomes of where we live, play and work, and a view on future sustainability thinking focused on the implication of enabling technologies such as internet-of-things, connectivity and ubiquitous sensors.

    Preeti has completed her MBA in Corporate Finance and has recently completed a Masters of Applied Finance. 


    Johanne Rossi

    Chief Procurement Office

    Johanne Rossi is the Chief Procurement Officer at Caltex. Awarded Chief Procurement Officer of the Year and Procurement Leader of the year, her team was also awarded the Most Improved Procurement Operation of the year and Procurement Function of the year. 

    Johanne Rossi, Chief Procurement Officer at Caltex, is one of Australia’s most interesting procurement personalities who combines passion and intelligence with humility and care.  I was honoured to interview her at the beautiful Caltex office in Sydney where her enthusiasm for life and work shone through.

    Awarded Chief Procurement Officer of the Year, Procurement Leader of the year, Most Improved Procurement Operation of the year and Procurement Function of the year with her team, Caltex CEO Julian Segal, says about her: “Johanne has managed quite an amazing transformation at Caltex, changing the mindset both internally and externally of procurement from just about buying the cheapest staples, to delivering on our company-wide strategy and creating value in partnership with our suppliers who are now regarded as key business partners. Johanne has this great enthusiasm and positive motivating energy that has been critical in taking people with her on the transformation journey. Caltex is now a customer of choice and we’ve been able to leverage supplier relationships to drive mutual value and deliver real competitive advantage. As an Australian company, with no international operations outside of our trading hub in Singapore, these relationships are extremely important to our success.

    Johanne is also an adventurer, marathon runner, keen tennis player and, for something completely different, gained a bachelor’s degree in Plastic Arts from La Sorbonne (taking evening classes while working at Accenture) in Paris!

    Her eclectic life began in the south of France, where she grew up in modest circumstances. Her mother worked as a nurse in the emergency unit of Marseille’s largest hospital and her father was a Formula 3 and rally driver (before going back to school to get a degree and later joining Esso as a chemical engineer). Johanne entered a top-ranked French business school, working at night in a Pizza Hut shop to pay for the school fees, and went on to complete a Master of Science in Management by age 23.

    She then lived and worked around the globe with blue chip organisations like Exxon Mobile, Accenture, Nestle, Qantas and now Caltex and gained experience in various industries, roles and cultures.

    Johanne is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and an advisory board member for the peak supply chain organisation, Procurement Leaders.


    Maud Lindley

    Founding Director


    Maud Lindley is the founding director of Serendis, an Australian Leadership Consultancy. She brings to her practice extensive international experience in Investment Banking, combined with academic credentials in executive and leadership coaching.

    Before establishing Serendis in 2003, she held senior management positions in derivatives markets for large investment banks in London and Paris, including; HSBC, Societe Generale, Credit Lyonnais and UBS. 

    Her strong experience in the corporate world allows her to quickly understand the particularities of her clients’ environment and challenges. She has a strong coaching track record within the corporate world where her expertise and perspectives are naturally broad and relevant.

    Over the last six years, she has been designing, facilitating and promoting large-scale cross-industry mentoring programs within the banking, finance and property industries. These programs now attract more than 250 participants on a yearly basis. Throughout the facilitation of these initiatives, Maud has supported hundreds of participants to harness the value of mentoring and to develop effective coaching and inclusive skills. 

    A successful entrepreneur and business leader, Maud’s passion remains in the coaching of senior executives and teams to help them develop impactful corporate strategies and a mindful, inclusive approach to leadership.

    She holds a Master in Finance and Business Management (University Nancy II, France) and received professional accreditation with honours from the ‘Institut des Neurosciences Appliquees’, a French leading institute in positive psychology and coaching. She is also a member and fellow of the Neuroleadership Institute.
