Randstad Australia recently joined with Get Skilled Access to help businesses break down the barriers and stigmas when tackling disability employment.
Get Skilled Access, founded by Paralympic Gold Medalists Dylan Alcott, is a training provider born out of real-life experiences faced by Australians with disability and accessibility challenges in their everyday interactions with major businesses. Through the partnership, we hope to challenge Governments and the corporate world to engage and cater for this demographic far better than current efforts.
A tennis day was held to celebrate the partnership with CEO’s and MD’s invited to come and play the Perfect Match against Dylan. Along with raising awareness of the partnership and an opportunity to receive some first-hand advice on how to break down the barriers in their own companies, they were also competing for both honour & glory, and, the opportunity for Dylan to speak at their organisation. Don’t hesitate to reach out to Randstad’s CMO Trevor Lowder to find out more about the changes your business likely needs to make to engage a diverse talent pool of candidates, including how to build a reputation as being supportive of people with a disability.
“If you are going to talk about disability in your organisation, make sure someone with a disability has a seat at the table” - Dylan Alcott OAM
