On Thursday 23rd November 2017, the SA Chapter of the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held its ‘Water to Wine’ event at the Ibis Hotel in Adelaide.
Adelaide is one of the Great Wine Capitals (GWC) of the world. This is obviously a great advantage, however making wine requires a considerable amount of water which presents a considerable challenge for South Australia, the driest state in the driest continent on Earth.
To help us to understand this topic, FACCI had the privilege of welcoming various experts from the Water and Wine Industries: Roch Cheroux from SA Water, Paul Shanks from Barossa Infrastructure Limited, Stephen Cook from Pernod Ricard and Karen Raffen from Brand South Australia.
After our speakers shared their highly relevant insights, a very interesting debate opened. Guests also had the opportunity to network and mingle over delicious wine and canapés provided by the Ibis Hotel.
We would like thank to our wonderful speakers, our fabulous sponsor, Suez and all of our guests.
Stay tuned for upcoming events in Adelaide, including our Tchin Tchin de Noel on Wednesday 13 December.
