L’Oréal enters a 50-year exclusive worldwide beauty licence with Kering for the Gucci brand

L’Oréal will manage Gucci Beauty worldwide under a 50-year licence from 1 July 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
Following Kering's announcement of the early termination of the Gucci Beauty licence with Coty, and pursuant to the terms of the agreement signed on 19 October 2025 between Kering and L’Oréal, L’Oréal announces that it has entered into a 50-year exclusive licence agreement for the creation, development and distribution of fragrances and beauty products for the Guccibrand.
The new licence will take effect on 1 July, 2027, subject to regulatory approvals, at which point L’Oréal will assume responsibility for the development and management of Gucci Beauty activities worldwide.
Until that date, Kering and L’Oréal will work together, within a specific framework, to manage the transition, maintain business continuity and support the brand's ongoing operations.
