Mazars analyses the SME Recovery Loan Scheme's extension until 30 June 2022

Mazars offers its insight and assistance to businesses who may be eligible to the SME Recovery Loan Scheme.

As the Federal Government has announced an extension to the SME Recovery Loan Scheme for COVID-19 impacted businesses, our Patron member Mazars explains the key aspects of the extension and which businesses are eligible for the scheme.

The SME Recovery Loan Scheme, which was to expire on the 31st of December 2021, has been extended until the 30th of June 2022 so as to help businesses who have been impacted by COVID, as with new variants come new restrictions. Moreover, small to medium size businesses with up to $250 million turnover, including self-employed and non-profits, can now benefit from the scheme as well.

Mazars breaks down for us the key features of the extended SME scheme on their website. In addition to that, if it is still unclear for businesses whether they are eligible or not, a message can be sent to a Mazars specialist for a more personalised assistance tailored to one's own company.
