REDARC Defence & Space achieves AS9100D certification following TQCSI Audit, and ahead of Land Forces Exposition.
REDARC Defence & Space has achieved AS9100D certification for its aerospace and defence quality management system. The certification was announced ahead of the company’s participation in the upcoming Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition.
AS9100D Certification and Quality Management
The AS9100D certification is the globally recognised quality management standard developed specifically for the aerospace and defence sectors. REDARC says the certification provides prime contractors and the Australian Defence Force with assurance that the quality management processes applied at its Lonsdale facility have been assessed against the AS9100D standard, meeting international levels of process maturity, consistency, and risk mitigation.
Scott Begbie, Executive General Manager at REDARC Defence & Space, commented on the certification and its relevance to the local defence supply chain.

Audit and Internal Quality Management
Following a comprehensive audit by TQCSI, its Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer Sean Bates noted REDARC's robust approach to quality management, highlighting the company's clear dedication to delivering top-tier results in a highly demanding environment. He said:

Fabien Claudon, Group Risk & Quality Manager at REDARC, said the certification followed collaboration across the organisation and its ongoing review of quality management processes.
Land Forces Exposition
REDARC Defence & Space will present its work in power management, control systems and platform integration at the Land Forces Exposition, following the certification of its quality management system to the AS9100D standard.
