Rendel Ingerop and Aspec Engineering move into Adelaide
Strengthening their SA presence, Rendel Ingerop and Aspec Engineering have opened a joint office to serve key infrastructure and resource projects.
Engineering consultancies Rendel Ingerop Pty Ltd and Aspec Engineering have opened a joint office on Grenfell Street, in the heart of Adelaide’s central business district. The new Adelaide office puts Rendel Ingerop and Aspec Engineering in close contact to key clients and comes in response to several large contracts and investment in South Australian mining, infrastructure and maritime projects.
The Adelaide office is Rendel Ingerop and Aspec’s newest Australian office. Rendel Ingerop and Aspec Engineering have a long history in Australia, with this year marking 74 years since the commencement of Rendel Ltd first project in Kwinana, Western Australia and 23 years since the founding of Aspec Engineering in Queensland. Since then, they have grown to have a national presence with offices in Brisbane, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney and now Adelaide.
The Adelaide office will be led by Director Antonio Perez, a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 25 years’ experience. Antonio commenced his career in Sydney and later moved to Perth where he spent several years working in the mining, maritime and industrial sectors; in particular on Rio Tinto’s port expansion at Cape Lambert and BHP’s Southflank Mine. Antonio has recently returned home to Australia from the UK where he led Rendel’s underground structures team and delivered major projects across road (Lower Thames Crossing Tunnel), conventional and high-speed rail (Crossrail and High Speed 2).
