Tour de France Lunch is supporting Tour de Cure, a Charity funds fighting against cancer

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Cycling Australia are delighted to invite you to the 13th edition of the Tour de France Lunch on Friday 8 July at Peninsula in Docklands, Melbourne.

Come join us to celebrate our two countries' shared passion of "La Grande Boucle" and enjoy a signature menu prepared by renowned French Chef Philippe Mouchel along with French wine and cheese. Gabriel Gaté from “Taste Le Tour” will be our master of ceremonies and will provide our guests with his insights on the Tour. The Lunch will also provide an opportunity to enjoy a Panel discussion led by SBS with Tracey Gaudry, UCI Vice President and other special guests.

If you would like to win cycling gear, French wine / delicacies and more, a Silent Auction will be held to help our Charity Partner Tour de Cure raise funds to fight against cancer.

Tour de Cure is a cycling foundation committed to seeing an end to cancer. We ride to raise awareness and funds so that future generations won't experience cancer as we do today. Through cycling we engage communities to learn more about cancer and support our efforts.

Since 2007 the Tour de Cure has raised over $24M investing the funds in Research, Support & the Prevention of cancer. Tour de Cure has funded over 250 world class cancer projects contributing to 18 significant cancer breakthroughs. Research breakthroughs will ultimately lead to curing cancer.

Tour de Cure's BE FIT, BE HEALTHY, BE HAPPY cancer prevention message has been shared with 70,000 school aged children in the past 5 years helping them to understand cancer and encouraging them to make lifestyle choices to help them in to the future.

Tour de Cure is proud to work with some of some Australia's leading businesses, engaging their staff, customers and brands to help find a cure for cancer. We have a long way to go and welcome more businesses and passionate community members to join us.
