Turner & Townsend publishes its first Global Corporate Occupier Fit-out report
Turner & Townsend have produced a Global fit-out report that provides clients with insight on how costs are established and what they are based on.
Turner and Townsend's Global fit-out report covers the cost landscape across 42 locations worldwide, providing benchmarked average costs for high, medium and low-specification fit-outs. Additionally, it includes detailed data for 15 spotlight cities, offering a highly detailed perspective on costs for key occupier markets where businesses are making strategic investments.
The report provides occupiers with the cost visibility they need to support decision-making in an increasingly complex world of work – where shorter leases, talent retention and ESG commitments are redefining design decisions and spend profiles.
It also identifies three factors that impact fit-out decisions:
- Configuring costs for shorter leases as the top priority for most occupiers right now is flexibility.
- Investing in talent through fit-out decisions by creating workplaces that foster productivity and social collaboration, to attract and retain talent.
- The need for data to drive sustainability.
