Craig VandepeerGeneral Manager, Australian Marine Complex (AMC) Management

Craig was appointed as the General Manager of AMC Management (WA) Pty Ltd (AMCM) in February 2021. AMCM are the facility manager of the Australian Marine Complex (AMC) Common User Facility (CUF) in Henderson, Western Australia.

Craig joined the Royal Australian Navy in 1978 and was a Naval Officer for 15 years. In 1993 Craig joined Boeing Australia, as a Team Leader at the Joint Defence Facility, Nurrungar, in Woomera SA. Craig then moved to Exmouth WA to work as the Quality and Operations Manager with Boeing. After 5 years, Craig was appointed as Site Manager at Naval Communications Station Harold E Holt for Boeing.

In 2003 Craig returned to South Australia to work with ASC Pty Ltd (formerly the Australian Submarine Corporation) as the Through Life Support Coordination Manager for Collins Class Submarines. After 5 years, he was promoted to be General Manager Quality & Services Assurance for Collins Class Submarines. In 2009 Craig moved to Western Australia, and in 2009 Craig was appointed General Manager of ASC’s WA operations. Craig spent 10 years as the General Manager WA where he successfully led the transformation of Collins Class Submarine Maintenance in the West resulting in world class submarine operational availability.
