Liam joined FRV Energy, a renewable energy company operating over 40 plants worldwide, to develop new business models and better electricity products for Australian electricity consumers.
Liam has worked in the energy industry for over twenty years and has a background in engineering, science and business administration. Prior to joining FRV Australia Liam has held commercial, strategic and finance roles at Alinta Energy, Deutsche Bank, Roaring40s, Infigen Energy, and SIMEC Energy.
His experience includes managing projects supporting the Pinjarra Cogeneration power station and the Alinta Wind Farm in Western Australia, and the Waterloo, Woodlawn and Bodangora Wind Farms and Manildra Solar Farm on the east coast. He has also recently explored line-of-sight opportunities in pumped hydro, gas turbines and lithium batteries as pathways to manage Australia’s ongoing energy transition.
Liam has degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Western Australia, and a Master of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
