Thales Australia is an international company that focuses on five market sectors Aerospace, Space, Defence, Security and Transport. The company has some 80,000 employees in 56 countries with an annual revenue of some €$16 billion. Paul was appointed Director Protected Vehicles business in November 2017. Thales Protected Vehicles designs, builds and supports armoured and protected vehicles for local and international Defence Organisations, including Australia, Netherlands, Japan, Jamaica, Fiji and the United Kingdom.

With its manufacturing hub located in Bendigo the Protected Vehicles Business designs and builds Protected Vehicles which are supported from our Brisbane Support Centre. Paul has worked for Thales for 20 years and prior to that served in the Australian Defence Force. During the 20 years with Thales Paul has held a number of senior management positions including Director Strategy, Business Development, General Manager Land and C4I Systems for the Secure Communications and Information Systems Group and General Manager Services & Support in Thales Australia. Paul has significant experience in complex project management, system integration, communications systems and security and has a pre and post graduate qualifications in these areas.

Paul has both Defence Operational and Commercial experience and brings that experience and knowledge to the organisation.
