Table for 6 Networking Dinner at Eiffel Restaurant – Wednesday 29 August
The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry has the pleasure to invite you to its annual Table for 6 networking dinner on Wednesday 29 August, from 6.30pm pm to 9 pm, at Eiffel Restaurant.
This format of event will give you the opportunity to sit over an exclusive French gourmet dinner, share experiences and gain access to fresh ideas and insights about developing a career and running a business in Australia.
During the event, participants will be allocated to tables of 6 - switching tables for dessert - and will enjoy Champagne on arrival followed by a special 2-course menu created by Eiffel Restaurant's Head Chef, Selma, accompanied by a selection of French wines from Bouchon Wines & Spirits.
About Eiffel Restaurant's Head Chef, Selma
An interior designer and architect, Selma longed to have a restaurant of her own for many years. And so, one day, well into her thirties, Selma decided to become a professional chef. While some said it would be a struggle, Selma was a natural and began an apprenticeship under Michelin-star chef Michel Reutenauer. After only a year in Michel’s kitchen, she became Sous-Chef in a newly opened fine dining restaurant in the North of France. Once back to Australia, Selma worked for 2 years as a Sous-chef at a busy French restaurant in Southbank, before joining Ghislain for the Eiffel Restaurant adventure.
