Workshop: Get ready for the Australian labour market – Saturday 13 October
The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce Queensland Chapter, in partnership with Brisbane and Gold Coast Accueil, is delighted to invite you to a workshop to help you with your first steps into the Australian labour market, facilitated by Elisabeth Noyel, Recruitment consultant at Obtile.
This will be an opportunity to deepen your knowledge of the local labour market (employment type, remuneration structure, basic legal requirements), the trending industries and the customs of the Australian workplace, which is key to successfully find employment. Practical and interactive, it will also focus on how to prepare for your job search including: the importance of defining professional goals and objectives; how to present your experience; length and structure of the resume; the Dos and Don'ts; your LinkedIn profile; and cover letter.
OUR FACILITATOR
With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources acquired both in France and Australia, Elisabeth Noyel brings a deep understanding of the market place and considerable experience in generalist HR and recruitment. Arrived 6 years ago in Australia with a WHV, Elisabeth has since worked for both recruitment agencies and global corporate organisations specialising in recruitment and talent acquisition. In addition to this and to fulfill her passion for supporting people in developing their career, Elisabeth works as a part-time consultant for a start-up and business community called Obtile.
