Our SA Chapter is proud to invite you 2021 first Procurement Workshop: How to become a preferred supplier in the Defence sector.

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the Office of the French Strategy of DPC (Department of Premier and Cabinet), is delighted to invite you to 2021 first Procurement Workshop on the theme "How to become a preferred supplier in the Defence Sector". The hybrid event will be held on Thursday 6 May 2021 at Electra House from 4pm to 5.30pm AEST.

On this occasion, Richard Price, CEO of Defence SA will address our guests on the current and emerging opportunities in South Australia's Defence sector, setting the tone for the discussion to follow, led by Bettina Venner, Manager Supply Chain Development of ICN. We will have the opportunity to hear on that subject from the following Defence experts:

  • Audra McCarthy, CEO, Defence Teaming Centre
  • Michael Hall, Head of Sales & Marketing, Safran Electronics & Defense Australasia Pty Ltd
  • Tanya Pimblett, Head of Commercial and Supply Chain Maritime Services Group, ASC Pty Ltd

The discussion will end with a pre-recorded interview of Craig Maynard, GM, Axiom Precision Manufactering by Ariane Lopes, Supply Chain Manager, Defence, ICN on Axiom's success around the transition of Axiom PM from automotive to advanced manufacturing thanks to the different organisms and grants available in SA.

The workshop will take place at the Westside room and will be followed by a Tchin Tchin event, so join us at the Chamber Bar from 5.30pm for a complimentary drink and some canapes.
