About South Australia's International Engagement

2020 will undoubtedly be a crucial year for the global economy.  With Brexit, Australia’s Free Trade Agreement negotiations ongoing, China/U.S. trade tensions and November’s U.S. General Elections – what does all this mean for South Australia? Where are the opportunities and what are the supports in place to maintain and grow prosperous relationships with our largest trade and investment partners?  China remains our largest trading partner whilst the U.S. and UK remain the largest foreign direct investors.  South Australia’s economic links with the EU, India and others are also vital to the state’s future prosperity.  To discuss all of these issues, we will be joined by Leonie Muldoon - Chief Executive, South Australia Department for Trade, Tourism and Investment.

To complement our panel speakers, we are excited to announce a David Larkin AM, CEO of Hancock Agriculture will share his views on our export market, diversification and the impact of global events.
