10 May - Tricks & Traps for the French 'job seeker' in Adelaide

Presented by Business SA and the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) South Australia Chapter

Are you a French resident in Adelaide who is either looking for, or thinking about searching for employment?

Business SA and the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce SA Chapter jointly invite all French 'job seekers' to a Q&A event on Thursday 10th May to explore the tricks and traps of securing employment in Adelaide. This Q&A session will focus on helping French visitors and residents of Adelaide to navigate the employment process, including how to find job vacancies, how to prepare an application, what to expect from the interview process and how to secure the necessary employment visas.

We have drawn together a panel of experts who will guide you through all steps of the job-seeking process:

  • Jane Sansom, Regional Director, Department of Home Affairs (formerly Dept of Immigration & Border Protection)
  • Nancy Emil, migration consultant, Director of Migration and Trade, Business SA
  • Nicholas Kulakoff, recruitment specialist, Managing Consultant, Robert Walters
  • Amélie Froger, recent French arrival who has secured employment in Adelaide with Predict

The discussion will be facilitated by Olga Kostic, Export Adviser, Business SA and will take place at Business SA's offices in Adelaide.

This session is aimed at French residents from all professional backgrounds looking to secure work across any industry, career or profession.

We look forward to seeing you there!
