Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie

Originally a lawyer from Monaco, Myriam Boisbouvier-Wylie has been an active contributor in the non-profit sector over the last 25 years. Myriam served as the Honorary Consul General of France in Melbourne for 13 years, fostering political, cultural, and economic ties between France and Victoria while uniting the French community in the region. Myriam was a councilor then director of the French Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for over 13 years and is now the president of the French Australian Cultural Exchange Foundation [FACEF] and the president of Alliance Francaise de Melbourne. She is the founding president of Melbourne's Bastille Day French Festival, and the founder of French Assist Melbourne and Melbourne Accueil.

Myriam and her husband John founded in 2008 the John and Myriam Wylie Foundation to support meaningful initiatives, particularly in education. She serves as a director of Australian Schools Plus, a charity supporting disadvantaged schools across Australia.

Previously, Myriam served as President of the French School of Melbourne, and as Olympic Attaché for the Monaco team at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Her contributions to promoting French interests abroad have earned her several honors, including Chevalier des Palmes Académiques, Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur, and Officier de la Légion d’Honneur, the highest national order of merit in France.
