The 5-star Sofitel Sydney Wentworth officially unveils its extensive $70 million refurbishment, with final completion set for November. This refurbishment marks a significant milestone for the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, aligning with the Sofitel brand’s 60th anniversary, which highlights its dedication to French art de vivre.
Central to the hotel's refurbishment vision was reigniting the '60s jet-set glamour that characterised its original decoration when it opened as Australia's premier international 5-star hotel.
The refurbishment encompassed 436 guest rooms and suites, public spaces including the entrance lobby, and state-of-the-art conference and event spaces. Additionally, the hotel features a new dining precinct with two restaurants, Tilda and Delta Rue, two bars, Bar Tilda and Wentworth Bar, and a spacious outdoor terrace bar.
Pivotal to the transformation is Sofitel Sydney Wentworth’s partnership with prominent Sydney hospitality group House Made Hospitality.
