The Alliance Française launches its 33rd edition of the French Film Festival

The Alliance Française has now released the trailer of the 33rd edition.

Once again, this year, the Alliance Française is organising the 33rd edition of the French Film Festival. 

Representing the best of contemporary French cinema, this edition will transport audiences across the globe with its deeply seductive, vibrant and daring line-up of 42 films. The films will be available in a number of cinemas around the country.

The dates have now been announced and the screenings will take place:

  • Sydney from the 1st March to the 6th April (Encore screenings: 7th to 10th April) at Palace Central, Palace Norton Street, Palace Verona, Chauvel Cinema and Hayden Orpheum Cremorne
  • Parramatta from the 7th April to the 10th April at Parramatta Riverside Theatres
  • Canberra from the 2nd March to the 6th April (Encore screenings: 7th to 10th April) at Palace Electric
  • Melbourne from the 3rd March to the 6th April (Encore screenings: 7th to 10th April) at Palace Balwyn, Palace Brighton Bay, Palace Como. Palace Westgarth, Pentridge Cinema, The Kino and The Astor Theatre (Opening Night)
  • Perth from the 9th March to the 6th April (Encore screenings: 7th to 10th April) at Camelot Outdoor Cinema, Luna Leederville, Luna on SX, Palace Raine Square and Windsor Cinema
  • Brisbane from the 16th March to the 13th April (Encore screenings: 14th to 18th April) at Palace Barracks and Palace James Street
  • Adelaide from the 24th March to the 24th April (Encore screenings: 25th to 26th April) at Palace Nova Eastend Cinemas, Palace Nova Prospect Cinemas and Victa Cinemas (Victor Harbor)
  • Byron Bay from the 30th March to the 14th April (Encore screenings: 15th to 16th April) at Palace Byron Bay
  • Hobart from the 9th to the 20th March at State Cinema
