Marcus Crook is the Co-Founder of HoMie, a streetwear clothing social enterprise that launched in 2015. HoMie uses 100% of its profits towards achieving HoMie’s mission of supporting young people affected by homelessness or hardship. Since the brand’s inception in 2015, Marcus has led HoMie’s creative team in continually creating fashion-forward, seasonal and ethical garments. Marcus was an integral part of the process when the brand became accredited through Ethical Clothing Australia in 2018, and has been received numerous awards for his impact in the retail and fashion industry, including Uniting Care's 2016 National Anti-Poverty Award, Ragtrader's "30 under 30 - figureheads who shape the domestic fashion landscape,” TOMS international changemaker class of 2018 and in 2019, GQ Magazine’s Social Force Award. Marcus’ designs have been featured as part of HoMie’s runway collection for Virgin Australia’s Melbourne Fashion Festival and have also been included in Vogue Australia’s Generation Next.
