Hilton Noumea Renovates Apartments
Hilton Noumea is undergoing a two-year renovation, transforming apartments with fresh furnishings, and eco-friendly upgrades.
Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences is centrally located on Anse Vata Bay, one of the liveliest bays in Noumea boasting a 2km beachfront. The bay has recently undergone extensive works and now offers a promenade which is a popular meeting place for friends and families alike, for walkers, joggers, picnics and beach volleyball. Situated opposite the beach on large park like grounds, Hilton Noumea features a shopping gallery on the ground floor, which includes various boutiques and French labels, restaurants, cafes and bars.
Rebranded Hilton in 2013, Hilton Noumea offers 96 apartments each with a panoramic view over the lagoon. Ideal for families, groups and leisure or corporate travel, there are four different apartment categories to choose from ranging from a studio apartment to a one bedroom, two bedroom/two bathroom or three bedroom/two-bathroom apartment which can accommodate up to 6 people. All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen and there are numerous shops and markets in proximity to purchase your favourite French foods.
A full renovation programme for all apartments has begun this year and will continue over a two-year period. Renovations include replacement of all whiteware and surfaces in the kitchen/laundry and makeover of bathrooms substituting bathtubs with walk in showers for most apartments, part of the environment friendly strategy for the hotel. All furniture, soft furnishings and televisions in the lounge/dining area will be replaced giving a fresh modern look in harmony with the turquoise colours of the lagoon. New balcony furniture will further enhance the view from each apartment.
Hilton Noumea also features a restaurant, outdoor pool and deck area, wellbeing centre for women, mixed fitness centre and complimentary undercover parking. Finally, the hotel has meeting facilities for corporate events plus a chapel for wedding celebrations.
