Dr Peter AmerlChief Scientist at elmTEK
Peter is elmTEK’s Chief Scientist, providing technical and scientific governance support to a range of Defence programs.
Peter has a broad scientific background developed over a career spanning three industries. First as a researcher solving problems for the Institute of Space Research (University of Calgary, Canada), focussed on space borne mass spectrometers. This was followed by a term as the lead physicist for a major international company (Thermo Fisher), serving the mining industry in the development of precision instruments involving ultrasonic and microwave measurement techniques. More recently, with elmTEK, he is leading complex modelling and simulation of defence systems, as well pursuing applications for Space.
