How to be involved in the Future Australian Submarine Program?

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in partnership withthe Queensland Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning, is pleased to invite you to attend a  briefingwith Naval Group on Thursday 17 May from 10am to 1pm.

Naval Groupis a European leader in naval defence. Naval Group designs, builds and maintains submarines for the French, Brazilian, Indian and Malaysian navies. Naval Group is Australia's international partner for the design and build of 12 regionally superior submarines for the Royal Australian Navy. Naval Group is committed to maximising opportunities for Australian industry throughout all phases of the Program and are currently seeking registrations of interest from suppliers for a range of equipment and services required to deliver the future submarines. The first submarine will commence service in the early 2030s and sustainment will continue into the 2080s.

The event will include a presentation by Stephane Conty, Procurement & Industry Development Team Leader, a Q&A session, as well as networking time and a light buffet lunch.

We are encouraging attendees to register early as space is limited.


Stephane Conty, Procurement and Industry Development Team Leader, Naval Group

Stephane has over 15-year experience in procurement and business development in various areas including Oil & Gas, Freight & Logistics, IT and Motorcycle manufacturing. He joined Naval Group in June 2011, leading the Procurement Strategic Department, in charge - among other - of International Cooperation Plans. Stephane moved to Australia 3 months ago to work with Naval Group Australia. His mission is to set-up an extensive Supply Chain for the Future Australian Submarines program that will comply with maximising Australian industry in the short and long terms.
