Alliance Française to host diverse Bastille Day celebrations in Sydney
Following a 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic in 2020, Sydneysiders will welcome back the Bastille Day soirée.
On Wednesday 14 July, the Alliance Française de Sydney – in partnership with
organisations in the Franco-Australian community including the French-Australian Chamber of Commerce – is hosting a Bastille Day with the theme of France Around the World to celebrate the cultures of France, West Africa, Tahiti, New Caledonia and beyond.
Taking place at the Argyle, this event will present French and Francophone culture in all its richness and diversity. The entertainment for this evening includes live music and performances, as well as French food stalls.
The Alliance Française de Sydney is grateful for the commitment and support of City of Sydney
through their CBD Activation Grant, aimed at activating spaces with cultural programming.
