Announcing the 2025 Medal Winners of the Air Liquide Concours des Vins du Victoria | The French-Victorian Wine Show

Discover the winning wines of the 2025 Air Liquide Concours des Vins du Victoria.

MELBOURNE (VIC), 8 OCTOBER  2025 – The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FACCI) is delighted to unveil the medal winners of the 2025 Air Liquide Concours des Vins du Victoria. This competition celebrates the excellence, diversity and craftsmanship of Victorian winemaking through an international lens.

The Concours returned this year with 81 entries from 26 wineries, competing across four categories: Aromatic Whites, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Pinot Noir. A panel of highly regarded wine experts from France, Australia and other grand wine nations evaluated the entries, reinforcing its reputation as a benchmark for quality in Victorian winemaking.


THE JURY PANEL 2025

This year, FACCI is proud to partner with Sommeliers Australia, whose support strengthens the Concours’ standing as one of the most respected wine events in the country. This year’s jury brought together:

  • Adeline Zimmermann, Export Manager Pacific Area for Barton & Guestier, Listel and Patriarche

The wines were assessed using the Robert Parker 100-point scale, with gold medals awarded to wines scoring 95 points or more, silver between 90 and 94.5, and bronze between 85 and 89.5.

This year’s competition once again showcased the exceptional calibre of Victoria’s wine producers, with a number of standout performances.

The winning wines will be served at the Gala Dinner on Thursday 27 November to more than 250 distinguished guests. The Wine of the Year and the Public Choice Trophy will be revealed that night during the official awards ceremony.


A NIGHT OF CELEBRATION – 2025 CONCOURS DES VINS GALA DINNER

The culmination of the competition will take place at the prestigious Concours des Vins Gala Dinner on Thursday, 27 November 2025 at the RACV City Club, Melbourne.

Guests will be treated to an exquisite four-course menu crafted by acclaimed French Chef Philippe Mouchel, each dish perfectly paired with the top eight wines of the competition for a memorable journey of flavours.

The evening will also feature:

  • Bar à Champagne – a sparkling French-inspired celebration of fine cuvées, flowing throughout the evening.
  • Official Award Ceremony – including the coveted Wine of the Year and Public Choice Trophy.
  • Silent Auction – with exclusive experiences and unique prizes.
  • Corporate Lottery – companies booking three or more seats will be entered into a draw to win premium experiences, including private wine tours and tastings generously offered by Yering Station.
