Bouygues teams awarded the GOLD Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Skilled Workplace label

The MHFA has celebrated the Cross Yarra Partnership Design & Construct (Metro Tunnel Project) as a GOLD Mental Health First Aid Skilled Workplace.

The Cross Yarra Partnership (CYP) joins together Bouygues Construction Australia alongside John Holland and Lendlease, three of Australia's leading construction partners to implement the Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project, one of the biggest public transport projects in Victorian history. This project will disentangle Melbourne's current city loop with a new tunnel under the city for three of Melbourne's busiest train lines.

The CYP recently applied to Mental Health First Aid Australia as part of their Skilled Workplace Program which commends Australian organisations for not only reinforcing mental health first aid skills in their company but also fostering a culture within their workplace surrounding this initiative and the importance of mental health.

As a consequence, Bouygues Construction Australia alongside John Holland and Lendleasehave been recognised for their initiative, and achieved the ‘Gold Standard’ for their programs by Mental Health First Aid Australia.

This is the highest attainable recognition and is a clear demonstration of the work by the Precincts and the Workplace Wellbeing Network to build a mentally healthy workplace and normalise the conversations around mental health.
