Delphine Genin French Couture Opening

French Couture designer Delphine Genin launched her new collection and will present it at her Atelier on March 14th.

Presented as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Arts Program and in partnership with the Alliance Française de Melbourne, French Couture designer Delphine Genin will present you her new collection on Saturday 14 March at her Atelier on Collins Street.

In the Collins Street Atelier, you will have the unique opportunity to discover the new collection by DELPHINE GENIN accompanied by a glass of Champagne, premier cru.

The designer herself will describe the process behind a Couture collection and share precious information about the design process, embroidery techniques and the savoir-faire of French couture.

Delphine’s new collection is inspired by the Paris opera house - the Palais Garnier. After having seen a ballet at the Palais Garnier in the 60s, the designer’s parents were inspired by the main ballerina, Delphine. A woman with a blend of purposeful determination and elegance. This woman continues to inspire DELPHINE GENIN designs years later.

Creative director, Delphine Genin trained at the prestigious embroidery atelier, L’École Lesage, in Paris before opening her own atelier. During this exclusive event, guests will discover the secrets behind the design process, the art of embroidery and how innovation and tradition blend together.

Register now and get the opportunity to meet an inspiring designer while discovering French Couture techniques.
