Final of the 'French of the Year' Award: Voting is open!
The votes of the public and the jury made it possible to select 3 candidates per category who reach the final.
These finalists, with varied profiles, come from 5 states of Australia and reflect the influence of France throughout the Australian territory.
We were very pleased to see the high level of all the candidates and the very large number of entries. With nearly 10,000 votes cast in the first phase, all the candidates have captured the interest of our readers."
said François Vantomme, Director of Le Courrier Australien.
The winner of each category will be chosen based on the public's choices only. All readers are invited to vote, from now until June 27, for their favorite candidates.

In the final phase, readers have the final say in awarding their favorites. As in the first phase, voting is open to all, with a limit of one vote per person per category. Voting will take place on the same platform as for the first phase.
The candidate who receives the most votes in his or her category will be declared the winner of that category. There will be 4 French people of the year 2021!
