Liz Selby named Country Lead and Head of Pharma
Sanofi announced that Liz Selby has been appointed to the role of Country Lead and Head of Pharma for Sanofi ANZ in an acting capacity.
Sanofi announced that Liz Selby has been appointed to the role of Country Lead and Head of Pharma for Sanofi Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) in an acting capacity. Liz has worked with Sanofi for over ten years, most recently as General Manager of the Specialty Care business.
She will take overall leadership of the newly combined Pharma business unit which includes Immunology, Diabetes, Rare Disease, Rare Blood Disorders and Virtual Healthcare portfolios, as well as Sanofi’s local operations including Trade, Market Access and Corporate Affairs effective immediately.
Liz steps into the role at a pivotal moment with Sanofi entering the next phase of it’s Play to Win strategy and a renewed focus on transformative medicine and vaccines launches; accelerated R&D investment; and the pursuit to become the first pharma company powered by AI at scale. The appointment comes one week since Sanofi was named on the AFR BOSS Best Place to Work list (second in Health).
Liz has dedicated her career to health across Australia and in New Zealand where she began her career as a frontline health worker. Today, she is an experienced business leader who credits her success to having a strong purpose, development, and opportunity – attributes she pays forward.
Liz has a passion for people, science, and pursuing better health outcomes through improved access, innovation, investment, and sustainable commercial operations with a proven track record across primary and secondary healthcare, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries.
