Mazars reports outstanding performance in 2019

The international tax, assurance and advisory firm, announced revenues of €1.8 billion in its 2018/2019 financial year.

Mazars, the international tax, assurance and advisory firm, announced on January 15th revenues of €1.8 billion in its 2018/2019 financial year, up 10.4% (excluding Forex impact of +0.2%) compared to the previous financial year. The increase in revenues was supported by a strong 9.0% organic growth, complemented by a positive external growth of +1.3%.

Hervé Hélias, CEO & Chairman of Mazars Group, said: 

“This is the highest level of organic growth recorded by Mazars since 2011/2012. Alongside Mazars’ standout financial performance, 2019 also saw the signing of the Mazars North America Alliance in July. 

Commenting on the firm’s growth strategy Hervé Hélias added:

“Four years ago, we set an ambitious strategic plan called Next-20. [...] Our goal in 2020 is to reach 2 billion euros in revenues, and I feel confident that we will achieve this”.

Mazars in Australia

In Australia, Mazars also performed well in the financial year, 1 September 2018 to 31 August 2019. The firm recorded revenue growth in excess of 100% last year and now employs 302 professionals under the leadership of 34 partners. Doubling its size in Australia, Mazars increased its geographical reach, with the inclusions of Brisbane and expansion in Melbourne, and extended the company’s services offering, introducing HR and IR consulting and strengthening key areas such as tax, finance consulting and technological innovation via Mazars outsourcing services.

As a result of the strategic mergers, Mazars in Australia was ranked the fastest growing firm by the Australian Financial Review (AFR) achieving the highest year on year growth of any firm in the 2019 AFR Top 100 Accounting Firms.
