Naval Group Australia seeks input from local suppliers for capability survey

Naval Group Australia is seeking input to further highlight and profile the capabilities and products local suppliers can offer to the Attack Class Submarine Program.

The Building Australian Industry Capability survey is open to all suppliers registered with Naval Group Australia on the ICN Portal. You can register by clicking here, then to reach the survey navigate to the package of work titled ‘Building Australian Industry’.

You will be asked to complete a detailed supplier capability profile. This data will be used to inform procurement decisions moving forwards and potentially open up new opportunities for Australian suppliers not currently identified.

“The Future Submarine Program is a game changing opportunity for Australian industry,” said Stuart Lindley, General Manager Industry Capability Development, Naval Group Australia.

“Responding to this questionnaire will provide us with a deeper level of industry intelligence that will be used as a fundamental input into our market engagement strategies for products and systems. [...] This in turn will assist in providing maximum opportunity for Australian industry to work in partnership with us to deliver the Future Submarine Program,” said Stuart.

The ICN Portal is the platform used by Naval Group Australia for packages of work released as part of the Attack Class Submarine Program. Suppliers are encouraged to explore the current Requests for Information and Expressions for Information currently open and future Expression of Interest releases.
