Pacific People Solutions has officially transitioned to PPS Consulting following the retirement of one of its Managing Directors, Scott Roberts, and a subsequent business restructure with Alain Etchegaray now serving as the sole owner and Managing Director. This evolution represents a new stage in the organisation’s development and a clearer focus on its target market.

PPS Consulting offers professional services that provides recruitment, learning and development, as well as organisational consulting support to a range of industry sectors, including mining, energy, utilities, manufacturing and finance.

Under the PPS Consulting brand, the company will concentrate on regional Queensland and the Pacific continuing to deliver white-collar permanent recruitment across the mining, energy, utilities and manufacturing. In addition, PPS Consulting will provide skilled workforce solutions sourced from the Philippines via their partner E.C.I Siam, supporting short-term project requirements such as mining shutdowns, maintenance programs, and periods of peak workforce demand.

This transition reflects PPS Consulting’s commitment to delivering practical, industry-aligned workforce solutions tailored to the operational realities of mining and industrial environments across the region.

As part of this evolution, PPS Consulting’s services now strongly focus on:

  • Recruitment solutions for critical roles spanning from engineers to CEOs. Candidates are selected in line with client requirements, with consideration given to cultural alignment, motivation and career objectives, in addition to qualifications and professional experience.
