Record Growth and New Team Members for Meetings and Events by Club Med
The all-inclusive resort provider has announced an impressive 120% year-over-year growth for overseas meetings and events.
Best known for their amazing holiday experiences, Club Med's impressive growth made them earn the title as Australia and New Zealand’s fastest-growing brand for overseas incentive trips.
“We’re proud of this year’s fantastic results and expect the demand for overseas meetings and events will continue to grow significantly,”
says Christian Noret, Meeting and Event Manager for Club Med Australia and New Zealand.
Mr. Noret credits the success of their meeting and events offering to years of experience, amazing event destinations, and a unique no-fuss all-inclusive package keeping your budget under control, explaining:
“By offering amazing overseas experiences for clients, many who are time-poor professionals looking to impress and inspire their employees and stakeholders, our comprehensive package ticks all the boxes. We offer a seamless and unique experience with everything in one breathtaking destination, all for one package price.”
With the ambition to multiply their MICE business four-fold over the next four years, and a minimum of two new resorts opening per year, Meetings and Events by Club Med has appointed three new team members to meet the climbing demand:
Giorgia Pupparo, Business Development Executive Direct Channel
Joining the team with over 7 years of extensive experience in the luxury hospitality and tourism industry, Giorgia will oversee direct group sales and manage the prospection and development of new client portfolios, while working on corporate and affinity groups including weddings and wellness retreats.
Silvia Medina, Business Development Executive Indirect Channel
Hailing from Brazil, where she worked at the Club Med Brazil office for three years as M&E Accounts Executive, Silvia also brings extensive knowledge from previous roles in both sales and client services from well-known Sydney-based hotels including Intercontinental in Double Bay. Silvia will allow for further efficiency in managing indirect group sales from travel agents to PCOs.
Julie Vouletepsis, Account Manager
After spending the last 10 years expertly managing MICE for the Club Med South Africa office, Julie will take over the management of all accounts and administrative tasks, working in close collaboration with the sales team.
The team will continue to be led by the direction of Christian Noret, Meetings and Events Manager, and Joey Templin, Groups and Incentives Business Development Manager, with a combined industry experience of over 50 years.
