Engineering consultancy Rendel Ingerop, Rendel’s Australian branch, has moved into new office space at 77 Pacific Highway in North Sydney. The move reflects the rapid growth in the company’s presence in Sydney since the office opened in 2018.
Headed up by Neil Kerridge, who was previously based in Rendel’s UK head office for several years, the Sydney office is working on several high-profile infrastructure projects including Melbourne Metro, Melbourne’s Suburban Rail Loop East, Sydney Gateway, Roy Hill at Stanley Point and Hay Point Berth 2. The Sydney office benefits from specialist technical support provided by the London office and colleagues from Ingerop in France.
Rendel has a long history in Australia and, most recently, completed work on the £230 million Sydney Metro Northwest skytrain project in Sydney, which at the time was the largest infrastructure project in Australia. Other Australian projects include Hay Point Coal Terminal in Queensland; Pioneer Materials Offloading Facility, Barrow Island; and the RG Tanna Coal Terminal in Queensland.
Neil Kerridge said:
“Our move to new, larger offices marks the next stage in the growth of our footprint in Australia. We are strengthening links to key contractor clients and establishing relationships with the leading players in Australia’s active infrastructure sector. We expect this next stage to include a broader geographical presence across the country.”
