SA | A Night with Adelaide Festival
Our South Australia Chapter was delighted to welcome its members to a night with Adelaide Festival as 2022 opera: The Golden Cockerel was launched.
The French Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry SA Chapter was pleased to support the Adelaide Festival for the 2022 Opera programme announcement by inviting its French company members to attend a delicious French 3 course dinner.
Proudly hosted at La Buvette Drinkery, the event covered presentations of The Golden Cockerel by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov as well as the reminder of the historical partnership with Aix en Provence and Avignon Festivals in France. Elaine Chia, Executive Director and Rachel Healy, Artistic Director of Adelaide Festival both gave impressive addresses. Our guest of honour, the Hon. Steven Marshall, South Australia's Premier confirmed his support of the Festival and of the collaboration with France on both artistic and economic levels.
The 2022 opera has reached an all time record in bookings in the first 24 hours of launching with a generous amount coming from interstate.
