The Alliance Française de Brisbane welcomes its new Director

With its new Director, the Alliance Française de Brisbane looks to bolster further its offering to the wider community.

Jerome Carujo joins the "French Capital of Brisbane”, taking over from Luc Didon at the helm of the Alliance Française de Brisbane.

Jerome brings over 15 years of expertise managing of high-stakes educational projects. His professional journey has taken him to the USA, the UK, South Korea and Laos. As an Educational Attaché at the French Embassy in Lao PDR, he has negotiated bilateral and multilateral agreements with ministries, international organisations and corporations in an intercultural environment.

For 9 years at TV5MONDE, he was in charge of assessing the latest educational technologies and emerging usage for the international TV network. Spearheading the execution of the company's strategic plan, he launched the network's very first YouTube channel, its first podcast offering as well as its first iPhone app.

Over the past 2 years and throughout the COVID crisis, as a Digital Education Officer at the Institut Français in Paris, he counselled C-level executives in the worldwide network of 1,000 French cultural centres how to better serve their users thanks to digital technologies.

At the Alliance Française de Brisbane, he is looking forward to helping businesses and Brisbanites achieve more with French.
