The Fracht Group was awarded Airfreight solution and project of the year
Fracht joined 300 guests at Hamburg's Grand Elysée for a night of celebration as the winners of the Heavy Lift Awards were announced.
The Heavy Lift Awards 2022, which took place on September 22nd at the Grand Elysée, Hamburg, saw the very best of the industry come together to celebrate the achievements of the project cargo supply chain from the innovative solutions to complex transport challenges as well as industry leading initiatives to tackle safety, the environment and training.
At this year Heavy Lift Awards was rewarding 12 prices, the Fracht Group received 2 awards.
Firstly, the Fracht Group wins the coveted Project of the Year trophy. This award recognises the successful execution of a complex logistics project, and Fracht Group in cooperation with group company Dextra Project and Industry, showed its skills for Package C of the CRISP project, which included transport of modular furnaces and auxiliaries from Thailand to Singapore.
During this night of celebration, the Fracht Group was also awarded Airfreight solution of the year. The judges praised Fracht for adapting to different challenges for the complex and well-coordinated project to move a shipment of gearboxes from Dominican Republic, via the USA to Germany for urgent repairs, before redelivering to its origin.
