TRANSPORT & INFRASTRUCTURE SERIES | Challenges & Opportunities for the Queensland Water Infrastructure Sector

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry was delighted to welcome you to its event about the Queensland Water Infrastructure Sector.

The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry was delighted to welcome you to its Transport & Infrastructure video conference dedicated to the Challenges & Opportunities for the Queensland Water Infrastructure Sector.

Our speakers tried to bring answers concerning the water sector in Queensland by taking into consideration different stakes such as: climate change, population growth, ageing assets and competing interests for water. Advances in technology, markets and planning may help overcome these challenges to a certain extent, but significant policy and regulatory changes may be needed to ensure the resilience of Queensland's water supply in the coming decades...

After the panel session, our attendees had the opportunity to participate to a Q&A and networking session, which was a great opportunity to discuss directly with our speakers and share with other attendees.

Graham Dooley from Water Utilities Australia, Fiona Waterhouse from Utilitas Group and Unitywater and Yvette Waterfall from Veolia Australia & New Zealand for their precious contributions as well as Suzy Cairney, Partner at Holding Redlich for moderating the discussion.

Thank you to everyone for joining us. We hope we will see you next time!
