VIC | ADA: How to deliver Australian Sovereign capability on major Defence contracts

FACCI VIC Chapter first Aerospace-Defence-Aviation event was dedicated to the development of Australia’s Sovereign capability on upcoming major Defence programs.

We are delighted to announce that our FACCI’s first Aerospace-Defence-Aviation event was a success. The session was dedicated to the development of Australia’s Sovereign capability on upcoming major Defence programs. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from John O’Callaghan - Victoria Defence Advisor, who introduced the audience to Victoria’s priorities to grow the state’s defence industry and economy. Following John, representatives of Prime contractors and SMES, discussed in a panel discussion, their respective expectations, priorities, and their experiences, to improve the access across the Defence value chain and grow Australia’s sovereign capability.

We were thrilled to have such a great selection of speakers being part of the discussion:

  • John O’Callaghan - Victoria Defence Advocate
  • Gregory Parkinson - General Manager Procurement and Supply Chain, Naval Group Australia
  • Thomas Pfister - Regional Sales Director for Space & New Business, Airbus Australasia
  • Michelle Richard - Procurement Director, Thales Australia
  • Jurgen Schneider – Chairman, VDA Submarine committee
  • Rohan Stocker - CEO, Marand

The discussion was moderated by Darren Cooper –  Strategic Connections Group Business Manager

Thank you to ourPatron member and Partner Thales for hosting and supporting our event.
